Rare Scandinavian/Danish Modern Armchair Circa 1960s MCM - $795 (Las Cruces)

Judging by its original label with manufacturing control stamp (see photo), its modern organic design with trademark "floating" seat, and its superior craftsmanship, this piece is identified as an authentic "Model 50" Scandinavian Modern armchair conceived by renowned Danish industrial designer Erik Buch (1923-1982).
This chair is likely to have been manufactured in the late 1960s to very early 1970s.
Materials: The chair appears to be made of Teak wood and synthetic leather.

The seat is about 17" deep and 19-20" wide.
Condition: Quite good condition.
Solid, with tight joints and typical vintage patina and light surface wear, particularly to the finish of the tops of both armrests.
Occasional light surface scratches and marks to the wood and occasional small pricks and small isolated wear to the synthetic leather upholstery.
