Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance.
Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information.
Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries.
Schedule patient appointments.
Collect co-pays and payments.
Deal with incoming and outgoing post.
Complete other clerical duties as assigned.
Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean.
Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications: HS diploma or GED.
Previous clinical or medical office experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to problem solve.
Able to demonstrate tact, diplomacy, flexibility and be able to adjust to patient flows.
