Position Classification Student Worker Employment Type Part Time Benefits Not Applicable Department Grants & Rural Initiatives Summary To serve in 2023 in the capacity of Truth Initiative “College Leader.
” College Leaders will help plan and implement Healthy Mustang Student Initiatives on campus.
Duties As College Leader, will perform student leadership functions, outreach, event organization, and coordination of events for the Healthy Mustangs campaign.
Works in coordination and as a team with the other College Leader, and with the Healthy Mustangs staff leadership team.
Connects to the Truth Initiative resources and Basecamp site for additional support and coordination.
Maintains all information confidential.
Provides a broad range of administrative functions.
Maintains comprehensive communication among all contacts (internal and external).
Models professional standards and ethics in accordance with WNMU philosophy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Background Current WNMU student.
Job Knowledge Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to contribute ideas and work collaboratively on campus initiatives related to the health and well being of students on campus.
Skill in general office duties and office equipment to include telephones, copier, Fax, and computer/computer programs.
Must be knowledgeable of University policies and procedures.
Must be able to handle multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy.
Must be sensitive to cultural differences within the University and community.
Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications.
Working Conditions/ Physical Demands (With or Without Accommodations) Normal office environment.
May be required to lift normal office equipment and materials.
Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
Hearing ability for verbal communication/ conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing, and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
