We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team.
As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with our target audience, and drive traffic to our retail location and Weedmaps platform.

We are a new cannabis company looking to rapidly grow our online presence.

\*Starting pay will increase significantly with higher levels of experience or connections within the industry.
Must be proved through portfolios.
\* We will give you a bi-weekly schedule of upcoming deals, specials, or events.
Right now we are solely located in Las Cruces, but within the next month we will have other options in Santa Fe, NM.
Duties:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement
- Create engaging and compelling content for various social media platforms
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media channels
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop advertising campaigns
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design and video editing purposes
- Analyze social media metrics and provide reports on performance
Requirements:
- MUST be 21 or older to apply.
- Provide a portfolio of prior work in your application.
Include any social media handles that display your work.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Preferred experience in the cannabis industry.
Not required but preferred.
- Proficient in social media management platforms such as Buffer or Hootsuite
- Strong knowledge of various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online marketing strategies
- Excellent graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) a MUST
- Ability to create engaging content including written posts, images, videos, etc.
- Strong research skills to stay updated with industry trends and best practices
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
