0 Exempt or Non-Exempt: Exempt Summary: We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Arrowhead Center team! Classification Summary: Under limited supervision, creates marketing and communication programs that effectively describe and promote the divisions services and/or products, including graphics, brochures, fact sheets, digital content, or other promotional materials and/or products.
Research and develop content for marketing and communication publications.
Responsible for improving and maintaining content to raise brand awareness and monitor metrics to increase engagement.
Classification Standard Duties: Develop and manage marketing and communication projects.
Write or edit, direct the design of, publish and distribute marketing and communication materials designed to meet the marketing and communication objectives of the division.
Manage all activities to produce these materials including procurement.
May assist in designing and implementing digital media plans and strategies and achieving digital marketing goals and objectives.
May coordinate and manage the creation of digital content such as website, blogs, press releases and podcasts, infographics, videos etc.
May provide website content strategies, analyze site traffic, and offer actionable recommendations for improvements that will help the School optimize the effectiveness of its digital presence.
May be required to leverage analytic tools to provide reporting and insights, track and improve metrics, and influences testing for social media, content marketing, search engine optimization, and social advertising campaigns.
Maintain familiarity with all division programs and services and update all communication resources accordingly.
Serve as editor for all division marketing and communications projects.
Responsible for promoting, updating, and responding to all social media.
Develop the content of the divisions website.
Monitor information to assure the web site is accurate, timely and in compliance with the needs and interests of various audiences seeking information about the organization.
Develop advertising messages and promotional campaigns for the division.
Develop tracking systems that evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and projects implemented by the department.
Coordinate and assist with special events and community outreach projects designed to increase awareness and utilization of services.
Oversee the maintenance of essential resource and background files to include subject/source files, photo files and related information essential to marketing and communications duties.
Cultivate and evaluate sponsorship opportunities for the department.
Uphold the NMSU mission and brand and acts as brand ‘goodwill ambassador’ to positively represent and promote NMSU.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, Certification/License, Equivalency Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience- Five (5) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.

Ability to evaluate and edit the content, structure, and format of a range of written material.

Job Duties and Responsibilities The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing communication strategies to enhance brand awareness of various Arrowhead Center Programs and drive business growth.
The Marketing Communications Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content, manage social media channels, maintain website pages, plan and organize events, execute campaigns that resonate with our target audience, mentor clients in need of marketing/branding assistance, and other miscellaneous tasks.
Branding • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns for various Arrowhead Center Programs, ensuring maximum visibility and brand awareness.
This includes engaging content creation, social media management, promotional item design, community engagement events, internal and external partnerships building, newsletters, among others.
• Website creation and management for various Arrowhead Center Programs, to ensure the vitality, engagement, and accuracy of the information displayed in online channels.
• Collaborate with the creative team to produce visually appealing and impactful marketing materials.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation for Arrowhead Programs.
Mentorship • To meet with and advise Arrowhead Center clients in need of marketing and/or branding assistance.
• Gather relevant information and document client needs, preferences, and project details accurately and comprehensively.
• Provide personalized guidance, consultation, and resource recommendations to clients based on their specific objectives and business stage.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop a program roadmap that meets client expectations.
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing ongoing support, addressing inquiries, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Event Coordination • Plan, organize, and execute successful events for various Arrowhead Center programs, including workshops, networking events, speaker series events, receptions, and pitch competitions.
• Coordinate event logistics, such as venue selection, equipment rental, catering, and transportation, to ensure seamless execution.
