This position is located at Holloman AFB, New Meixco, and is a full time, regular position.
This position will report to the Site Manager.

Job Description This position, located at Holloman AFB, New Mexico, involves applying technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions.
This position works under the technical guidance of a supervisor or higher-level technician and work product is audited for accuracy.
will provide all necessary maintenance and maintenance support capabilities to ensure the Threat Systems remain functional to meet both exercise and daily flying training operations.
The selected candidate will apply basic, intermediate, and advanced technical knowledge to perform simple, routine, and challenging tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, power meters and oscilloscopes.
Primary Responsibilities: Perform periodic, preventive, and corrective maintenance Perform system installation, preparation for use and reshipment.
Identify and report corrections/improvements to technical data Identify and report product quality/materials deficiencies Replace components and wiring circuits Repair simple electronic equipment Diagnose problems and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic equipment or systems Mechanical repairs that required the use of precision measuring and calibrating equipment Conduct test readings using common instruments such as digital millimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, spectrum analyzers, power meter and oscilloscopes Ensure compliance with BSEt Quality Control and Safety Programs Other duties as assigned by the site manager Minimum Education/Experience Associates degree in electronics field or certificate of completion from an accredited Technical school, or equivalent military technical training Minimum 2 years’ experience working assigned electronic combat range systems Ability to understand the basic operation of a Windows based PC and be able to document maintenance actions.
Experience with the following range systems: JTE Joint Threat Emitter, MST-T1A / MUTES; MST-T1(V) / Mini-MUTES and Visual/IR targets highly desired.
Experience with ground radar of any type, satellite tracking/radio and antenna positioning systems, and work with high power transmitters using TWTs or magnetrons Additional Requirements US Citizen // Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
