Job Summary: In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products.
We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time.
To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.
The Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM is searching for a qualified HVAC Technician to join the Team.
The candidate will be involved in all types of support of trades, mission activity, and testing support.
Advanced knowledge of various HVAC systems and general knowledge of machine shop and fabrication processes and procedures are desired.
Primary tasks will include installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and related appliances.
In addition, supporting equipment movement, site establishment and site sustainment locally on WSMR and multiple testing locations throughout the United States.
Candidates will collaborate with multi-disciplined teams while supporting multiple projects to achieve timely execution and completion of established goals, as well as support general facility maintenance.
The candidate will work in an engineering environment to support and facilitate testing of engineering hardware in accordance with customer and internal requirements and industry standards.
This position is an onsite role.
Travel required to support assigned systems.
Responsibilities to Anticipate: Preventative Maintenance and services of HVAC systems and related appliances Installation and/or replacement of HVAC systems Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks Provide support in a field testing environment General facility maintenance Support to MCVC as needed outside of primary duties Basic Qualifications: Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Experience with HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair The ability to obtain and maintain a U.
S.
government issued security clearance is required.
U.
S.
citizenship is required, as only U.
S.
citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
