Medical Assistant / Front Desk

Job Description * Provide overall support for Physicians and office operations * Greet and schedule patients * Screen telephone calls for referral to physician * Prepare patient for examination and treatment * Prepare patient rooms for minor surgery * Fill out paperwork required for the day * Take patent histories and vital signs * Assisting with examinations and procedures * Other duties directed by physician/office manger to the scope of practice as needed Job Type: Full-time Job Responsibilities * Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) * Provide patient education * Assist with examinations and procedures * Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, greeting patients, and handling correspondence Required experience: * Medical Assistant: 2 year Required Travel to all Clinics : Arteries & Veins West 7500 N Mesa St, El Paso, TX 79912, Arteries & Veins East 2204 Joe Battle Ste.
